I’m excited to bring my skills to the board bringing to life the mission and goals of the Roybal Legacy Foundation. By using diverse social media channels along with traditional programming we will bring together stakeholders across generations to advance the community knowledge of the significant social political impact the Roybal family has had and continues to have and provide boots on the ground and virtual programs, service, and resources to those most in need.
As a registered nurse and Board Certified Patient Advocate I’ll be working with our community partners to bring much needed health education to those we serve.
Native of Los Angeles. Life-long social and political work for the rights of immigrants, renters, LGBTQ communities, underserved communities and civil liberties. Dedicated several years with Service Employees International Union (SEIU) in California and nationally organizing nurses and healthcare workers into positions of power in their workplace and communities.
Inspired by union nurses I became an RN working in a large migrant and immigrant community for over a decade at a large hospital in Southern California before transitioning to my current role in a nurses union.
